How to Specify a Ringlock Scaffolding System for Quotation
A useful RFQ defines application, geometry, load assumptions, access, finish and delivery—not only a component count.
Start with the job, not the bill of materials
State whether the system is for façade access, industrial maintenance, shoring support or a temporary platform. The same components can serve different layouts, but the engineering inputs and documentation needs may change.
Provide geometry and interface constraints
Share working height, bay dimensions, lift height, platform width, access points and tie or support conditions. Mark unusual interfaces on a drawing so they can be reviewed before pricing.
Confirm the commercial specification
Agree finish, packing, inspection scope, documentation, quantities and destination. Final load capacity and compliance claims must be tied to the confirmed configuration and applicable standard.
